[Davmail-users] Authentification fail

Hi all,
I am relatively new to Davmail and am having some issues using it. I was
already proud to have managed to set it up (since my company hasn't
proved very useful in helping out) but am now stuck with a password
authentification failure. A bit of context: I am running Davmail on
macOS Sierra and Thunderbird 47.0 to access a EWS server. I am sure my
password is correct since I just used it successfully on the company's
outlook webmail page. I also read on Davmail's FAQ that OS X did not
like blackslashes in logins so I replaced my "company\username" with
"username" only and added "company" in Davmail's default windows domain,
under advanced settings. To no avail. I am sure this is a fairly
standard setting error; has anyone here run into it before? Any help
would be much appreciated.

=> Sometimes DavMail returns authentication errors on other issues, the
first step is to find the right URL and authentication information.
Test both outside DavMail in a web browser, you can also use Microsoft
provided tool at:
https://testconnectivity.microsoft.com
